Tomorrow I Turn 30
Two years, seven months and 13 days ago I made my Tricenarian List, I highly suggest you read it. A Tricenarian is someone who is 30.
I had a lot of stuff on there I wanted to get done before I am 30. I have done none of them. Each is a little personal failure.
But I consider the time since then a great success because I met and married Sara.
Perhaps I'll make a list of stuff to do before I'm 40. As long as I have Sara then I'm sure I'll look back and consider the next 10 years a great success.
I also can't help but think that Jesus was 30 when he started his ministry. I'm sure I won't be as successful as him, I certainly won't walk as far, but I hope to do something that he would do if he was walking (or driving) around today.

Happy Birthday!
Way to keep it all in perspective Trey :) Marrying a Godly companion is the greatest accomplishment of all! I have no doubt that God will continue to use you for His glory in the next decade. Have a great birthday celebration!
I only turn 29 this summer, but I for one was determined to finish my masters before I was 30. I am a little upset I won't be done with law school until afterwards, but I guess we gotta take what we can get eh?
I told my friend, Whitney, about this list (and your utter failure to complete it) and you are now her hero. She is planning to make a "Tricenarian List" so that she too can fail to complete any item on it. I think she expects this to qualify her for canonization in mediocraty.
