Valentine's Day: How 'bout dem apples
Here is a pic of what I got the Children's Ministry ladies in my office.
The Card Reads:
One dozen roses
(Apples are a member of the rose family)
XOXO,
Trey
I work as Associate Children's Ministry @ Saturn Road Church of Christ, but I prefer the titles 'Secretary of Keeping it Real' and 'Medium Range Ballistic Missionary.' I try to mix up the posts so some are for adults and some for kids. Hopefully there is a kid inside all of us. Although I do not have a kid inside me, I swallowed a knife and the kid cut his way out and escaped.

Trey- You rock and roll! a thoughtful and nutritious remembrance.
There is enough chocolate floating around up there in the Children's wing already without adding even more to it.
But those better have been really good apples!
How do you know such random facts? Cute idea though.
Anonymous,
To answer your question:
1) My father who collected these things and never told me I asked too many questions
2) I read the encyclopedia as a kid for fun.
3) I currently read wikipedia "random pages" for fun.
4) I buy books with "Curious but True", "Odd Facts" and "Did you know" in the title all the time.

TL
Ps. Did you know that the ratio of thickness of an apple's skin to the rest of the apple is the same ratio of the thickness of our planet's atmosphere to the rest of the earth?
Curious but true.
Bravo! Well played.
good job. very healthy.
If you eat them you will have to leave the garden - Don't do it!!!
