I work as Associate Children's Ministry @ Saturn Road Church of Christ, but I prefer the titles 'Secretary of Keeping it Real' and 'Medium Range Ballistic Missionary.' I try to mix up the posts so some are for adults and some for kids. Hopefully there is a kid inside all of us. Although I do not have a kid inside me, I swallowed a knife and the kid cut his way out and escaped.

Somehow I don't think our young man has the right idea about what he is doing. Maybe he should rethink it?

c'mon...he was just so excited and happy he couldn't contain, himself, right????
probably not.
The only logical response is to hold the kid under an extra 30 seconds to teach him that church isn't for playing around.
It helps a great deal to know that that kid was actually the pastor's son. That little tidbit makes a big difference.
The next thing you know, they will be having mixed bathing in the baptistry! WE can't have this!!!
